Thanks!
Just a quick post to say “Thank you!”
Positivity - Passion - Purpose has been going for just over a year now, and we are closing in on 250 subscribers. That feels like a big deal to me, and I’m grateful to you for signing on to this adventure. Thanks for being an awesome human being!
I’m enjoying this newsletter even more than I thought I would! I would love it to keep growing, and reach more educators who might need a little positivity in their life, who want a jolt of passion, and who desire a reminder of their purpose.
But to keep this thing growing, I need your help! One of the best ways for newsletters like this to continue to grow is by word of mouth—recommendations of folks just like you!
So here’s the favor I have to ask of you: if you’ve found any of my posts from the past year helpful, or funny, or encouraging, or thought-provoking, would you consider sharing it with someone else? (You can always go back through the archive to find past editions of the newsletter too, so if there was one that stands out to you that you’d like to revisit, you can dive back in through the Positivity - Passion - Purpose archive.)
Email, Facebook, Instagram, carrier pigeon…any way you’d care to share! If you could give them a reason you signed up, that would go even further to nudge them to read and subscribe. Or maybe even just share this post with them, with a comment about what you appreciate about this newsletter?
I know this is a big ask, so thanks for considering it. You are just the best.
A new post is on the way next week, on our usual every-other-Wednesday schedule. It will have an encouragement to explore a new adventure, along with some “Dave’s Faves” recommendations, and even a recipe to share.
You’re always welcome to respond, by the way. I’d love to hear your thoughts, wonderings, comments, questions, and pushing-forward. I’m just grateful you’ve signed on to join us on the journey!
If you are an educator, I hope that you are finding summer to be a blessed change-of-pace. Rest well, enjoy learning something new, and do something creative or recreation-oriented to recharge those batteries! As the pundits say, you can’t pour from an empty cup, so fill yours up!
Grace and peace to you,
Dr. Dave
